Thomas and Charles

This is from my story Las Vegas Circle–a snippet from Thomas’ past in which a particular sheriff finally grasps the fact that Thomas is gay–and he’s lusting for someone other than himself–a handsome policeman from back East–

“I don’t want anything more to do with either of you, and Thomas?” Frank shouted. “Fuck you!”

Frank had his hand on the doorknob before Thomas answered, a small snicker in his tone.

“So that’s what you really wanted all along, Frank? I knew it.” He put his hand on his crotch. “I’m nothing if not verstile.”

Frank froze, his face turning an alarming shade of crimson, and Edgar couldn’t hold it in any longer. He gave out a big guffaw and Thomas joined in.

  3. Taunting someone like that is probably not going to end well for Thomas.

  4. Well, being a vampire, he really doesn’t have much to worry about from Frank–but he will be hurt nonetheless, unfortunately 🙂

  13. Not knowing the characters leaves this beautifully ambiguous. Does he deserve it or is Thomas the one who needs to get his comeuppance?

  14. Our dear sheriff indeed deserves it–but he’ll make Thomas and Edgar pay before he receives his final comeuppance 🙂
